Moatt is a trade name of Beschermheren B.V., located at Daalwijkdreef 35, 1103 AD Amsterdam ZO, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 62096087.

Beschermheren B.V. acts as the data controller for the processing of personal data through the Moatt website.

We value the protection of personal data. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we process, for what purposes and what rights you have.

1. Personal data we process
Through the Moatt website we only process personal data that you provide directly or that is collected automatically when you use the website.

This may include:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Company name
  • Content of your message submitted through the contact form
  • IP address
  • Website usage data collected through Google Analytics

We do not process special categories of personal data through this website.

Contact form

When submitting the contact form, we process your personal data based on your consent pursuant to Article 6 paragraph 1 sub a GDPR.

By ticking the consent box, you grant permission to Beschermheren B.V., trading as Moatt, to store and process your personal data for the purpose of handling your request.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting privacy@beschermheren.nl. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.


Website analytics

Where required by law, we request your consent before placing Google Analytics cookies.

3. Sharing of personal data

We only share personal data when necessary for the purposes described above.

  • IT service providers for hosting and technical support

We conclude data processing agreements with service providers where required.

4. Retention periods

We do not retain personal data longer than necessary.

  • Contact requests are retained for a maximum of 12 months after the last contact.
  • If an agreement is concluded, statutory retention periods apply.
  • Data processed on the basis of consent will be deleted upon withdrawal unless another legal basis applies.

After expiry of the retention period, data will be deleted or anonymised.

We may amend this Privacy Policy where necessary. The most recent version is always available on the website.
